RMT's could effectively remove their own subscription costs, however in order to make money (dollars) they would still have to sell gil itself. In the case of buying crysta to trade for gil, you buy crysta from SE directly.

They could corner the market on the tokens, however the singular price of X amount of gil will always be limited by the price of 1 month subscription. (Based on the demand of crysta and current gil inflation)
