Because it's not nearly the easiest for everyone. Not everyone can afford or is willing to spend money for virtual goods. I, for one, am not.

its still money in the game it didnt magically appear.
RMT sells stuff on MW/AH they get gil then you pay money >> get gil.
this would be the same thing pay money >> get scroll >> sell it get gil.

The problem with RMT is not that they sell money. The problem with RMT is that they 1: Spam 2: compete against players for drops in order to provide currency to ther gold selling firm.
