Any chance we could get free NPC repair with the world ending?

This may seem like a trivial request, however playing yesterday trying to kill level 100 mobs and being 1-shotted several times, I started to realize repairs may be an issue to some.

So, my request is simple. Could we possibly get town repair NPCs to offer free repairs for our Warriors trying to save their city. Think of it as doing their part and aiding in the fight!

Depending on how much people do between now and the 11th, there's a chance people will run out of either gil or darkmatter. With the end of the world coming, repairs at this point seem to be an un-necessary burden.

But your progress was saved on the 31st and isn't saved during this event. You are using gil and dark matter you're just going to get back with ARR.

I also thought about this. Yeah it doesn't cost much to fix, and money is meaningless atm but all the more reason to make repairs free, and atma cost 0 for everything as game balance has no meaning atm.

Repairs already ARE free because the gil spent on it wont matter. If you used up ALL your gil not thinking you might ever want repairs in the next 10 days, well....thats not SE's fault, is it?

This isn't entirely fair, considering that SE never told us what was happening for this live event, and most people were not planning on dying 5 thousand times each day.

Right, just because I hate this one event I hate the entire game? I love FFXIV I just think this event is pretty crap, the entire praying thing etc... yes its the end of the world but as everything we did that matters has already been saved then who cares? I mean people complaining about stuff like spending money or how hard the mobs are, it doesnt matter, none of this event matters.. there is no reward and no progress made by doing it..

fyi - I visit the forums on updates for 2.0, there are far more posts about this event right now so of course I post about it, I am here reading for another purpose and this crap is constantly at the top of the list.. so yes.. I do post about it, but not as much as everyone else who starts threads...
