Greetings!
In the past suns, we adventurers have been busy in trying to repel the invading fiends and imperial army from our city-states.
And there was this saying that /praying to The Twelve might have helped us in killing those monsters.
Well, a while back, one of the Rep Jailers of the Coral Tower appeared in Ul'dah and revealed that praying won't aid us in repelling the fiends nor the imperials.
Fighting achieve things, praying doesn't!
I believe that believing is a very important matter and in a certain sense some may think that we could have been left to believe that our prayers were actually heard by The Twelve, but since we're on the climax of the Seventh Umbral Era, I think it's more important that we focus on what will really work:
FIGHT!
To solve the mistery: Why monsters were dying after a certain amount of prayers? Well, just like this Darnus died after an Ultra Strong Poke:
Speaking for me, I'm not really the type of fighter who enjoys 6+ hours battles, missing more than half of my attacks/weaponskills. However, now that we know that our prayers will not be heard by The Twelve (yet), we should have more firepower.
Always keep in mind that the event is made in a way to make us believe “This is a battle we cannot win”, with enemies dealing 9999 damage per hit, but when weaker monsters appear and not 20 of them (spam AoE => No, thanks), it's actually pretty fun.
Today it was particularly, being teleported around in Ul'dah by who-knows-who... I'll definitely talk about this day better in my journal, hehe.
I'm having fun in Eorzea until the very end! Thanks to the dev team and to the Great Reps (that something tells me are also having a blast

) who made this possible.
