The main point is we want the same thing a summoner, the name doesn't really matter the only reason why I called it evoker is because it makes more sense with the current naming scheme, plus im very open to change so I wouldn't mind if SE created brand new summons like in FFXII, maybe a new summon for each of the 12th, and the beast tribe ones can be the chaos ones or something like that. In addition if SE decides to add a advance job type of system or tree system like many have proposed non of the classes fit the summoning type of theme, so maybe evoker can be the base class, and the adv class or trees can be summoner? and necromancer?Evangela
Summoner is summoner...
Evoker? no, thanks
I know that the dev will make there own version of summoner the only thing im offering is a quest idea, summons, and how to make it work without those huge summons. For instance Leviathan is huge so how can you summon that. Maybe as said before making two different new primals like the chaos primals can be the beast tribes ones, then the divine primals can be from the 12th gods of eorzea and be weaker, and smaller than the current ones.Malakhim
I didn't read the entirety of the post, and I think that if the devs plan to introduce a type of summoner class(and they probably will) that they'll come up with their own plan for it.
However thank god somebody is sticking with calling it Evoker.
The reason why I made them cost mp to keep out is because you are basically keeping a powerful being out, how can he just be with you forever lol. In addition the cross classing is how the current mechanic of the game work of course any changes to the armory system will also influence evokers if added.I like the idea.
Evangela, summoner is SOOOOOooooOOOO XI.. plus evoker sounds cool.
I would change though making them a little bit weaker but costing no mp to be out.
AND NO CROSS CLASS SUMMONING ERRrrrrr EvOKING
ya your right lol, the only difference was you had no control over the summons, I always wondered why they added two summoners with the same summons in the same game lol.For anyone not in the know, Evoker was the first class in the series that could summon creatures, and it debuted in Final Fantasy III. The upgraded class is Summoner.
Conjurers already have White mage, and Black mage I think they should actually separate magics to make each class unique, and not only that the armory system is supposed to teach you a type of magic influenced by the weapon.Coincidentally, conjury is just another name for summoning magic. If they are planning to add summons, it would make sense that it would be a subset of Conjurer.
