Would /pray motion work the same as /pray? Most people on my server preferred the aggressive approach and I felt a little bad filling up their battle logs with my emotes.
Maybe...this whole thing works in stages. While some servers where just starting to have their cities invaded, others where still defending the outer walls. Maybe more enemies need to be defeated before the gods start helping?
It has... a sabotender and a morbol died not 15 minutes ago at 90%+ hp just like that. You were there, stop nuking for a minute and pay attention, it's not that you just landed a really good critical... :P
I know, right?
This whole post-save gameplay thing is really doing a great job of identifying why people play the game in the first place, which certainly colors their attitude toward the game and how others play it.
One group only seems to value the reward or payoff. Because the rewards/payoffs of this post-save period of the game aren't permanent, they don't see the point in logging in at all.
The other group sees the events unfolding as enjoyable and are logging in to have fun with it. They don't require rewards to justify logging in and playing.
Funny how those two separate mindsets pervade so many of the discussions/debates on these forums, and color people's views on where the game is or should be going.

Hmmm even in-game itself... I find myself at a loss at what to do sometimes... when I see people just bash at every other enemy that appears, even without the possibility of the enemy going down. Sometimes I join them, sometimes I stand at the side and pray instead, not even knowing if that will or will not work. We're at the golem phase now in Masamune and I'm taking a break from fighting...I know, right?

It's a strange kind of fun for now, but I'm sure the rewards for staying on in Eorzea to brave the impending apocalypse will be something intangible and definitely a memory for us as we move on to 2.0.Then we can brag to the newbies there that we did this and did that to save the world LOL
Oh my gods, this is amazing.![]()
