There's nothing going on in Masamune right now. No mobs in any of the cities. We had the magictek vanguards last night but I guess they were prayed to death.

Aegis seems to have started a new cycle.
After taking down four or five drakes on the main strip, 3x Nael van Darnus spawned INSIDE the Arrzanaeth Ossuary.
We're dealing with them now, but I'm gonna see what happens if I pray to a certain god's aspect there.
Edit: Didn't do much, but we DID beat the living daylights out of those three pretenders.

Lol I see you in game... yeah it's booooooring here now.....
elementals (I think that's the next in our phase) come out and play nao!!!!!!
We got attack up buffs during our second Grid phase (due to praying?), We went back to Uldah and killed some straggler sabotenders, now waiting on next phase.
Thank you for this exciting information.
Three darnus and a crap ton of imperial guys spawned. I prayed dead ONE Darnus... the rest wont fall.
I don't recall Masamune ever having to get to the other cities to kill stuff yet (unless that happened the whole afternoon I fell asleep...)
Am wondering if these events are triggered by some action? Or just decided upon at the mercy of our respective GMs~~~~~
The Wandering Minstrel must be secretly guffawing away in the background.....
I very much doubt praying helps to kill these, yesterday we had over 100 imperial centurions in ul'dah and more just kept spawning, eventually, all of them just started spontaneously dying until there was a reasonable number of killable enemies left, I imagine the spontaneous deaths are simply to relieve stress on the server.
It's more than likely something that wasn't necessarily planned. I imagine that the GMs controlling the spawns at the time are just like, "lol they're using /pray at them, let's de-spawn everything." The fact that on my server, people walked away with buffs like 10m Quickstride, proves that it's a way to get rid of them that the people in charge are supporting.I very much doubt praying helps to kill these, yesterday we had over 100 imperial centurions in ul'dah and more just kept spawning, eventually, all of them just started spontaneously dying until there was a reasonable number of killable enemies left, I imagine the spontaneous deaths are simply to relieve stress on the server.
