Just got back from the distant worlds event in London, which was fantastic btw. Anyway, i noticed during the song "Answers" they showed off something potentially never seen before.

Has Titan ever been seen before in-game? or could this be ARR footage snuck in?

This was scenes from the FFXIV 1.0 pre release trailers. but do to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan they removed them from the story for sensitivity issues. So the footage is old and still around, but not used due to 3-11 in Japan

I wish they'd make the orchestrated version of Answers the theme song for ARR. It sounds better than the rock version IMO. They've made orchestrated soundtracks for other games in the past, I don't see why they can't make this exception for this song.

They both have their pros and cons. If you're talking about the Distant Worlds CD/DVD version, that's an amazing version. However, it was the debut performance of the song to a live audience, so Susan didn't sing it as powerfully as she does now.

If they did use an orchestrated version, I'd rather have them re-record her vocals over a pre-recorded orchestra. Or maybe just mix the current vocal with orchestra. Maybe...they could use both versions! (Hey I can dream ~_~)

London concert was pretty special, though I missed them having another go at Dancing Mad on that pipe organ (it goes up one whole side of the Royal Albert Hall), since that was pretty special last time. I really liked the new section he added into the opera, too.

Also, Answers has some real weight to it live.
