Well I wasn't saying it was pointless really. I'm just thinking that you can't get upset about fighting a losing battle when the plot is that we are supposed to lose. I for one am enjoying the lvl 90 mobs. I'm not helping with the fight with hopes of actually killing the things, I'm helping with the fight because it's fun to roleplay and it's fun to join in on a group endeavor.

Just don't be disappointed if there is no way to "win" this event... y'know?

lol yes I know, I was enjoying it, lol don't get me wrong. I was fighting the mobs and just clicked for me after we killed a Marbolo, hey I think I should go pray to Nald'Thal, you know for the protection of his city so I ran noticed I was only one there (on Gungrir) and prayed 2 times before running back, then thought why not state this on the forum the word will spread better that way then trying to shout in this chaos lol. I find it interesting that I am not the only one to get this idea.

I am organizing with some friends now we almost have a full party, we are going to see if 1 pt can do something if it does, we will Screen shot it and prove it to others and get more people to do the same.

then whats point logging in? if i know its just gunna end badly where i die or spend the next 10 days auto attacking the same mob seems pointless and not worthwhile.

I am wondering if there is a Pray Counter or something of like 1000+ prays and it triggers a cs and the gods wrath comes down and repels the mobs. I know speculation, but who knows if people don't try. I think that would be a cool experience if that was the case! but I am not keeping them to high myself for a CS but I still think the god stones and praying to them are key to have something occur in the game... Ohhhhh maybe A CS commences of the god decending then a NPC version of them spawn in the middle of the fight and starts fighting with us? oh how epic that would be.

i wonder if we need to wear those new special rings too? we had 10 ppl at the thm guild stone and nothing happend so it might have to be a larger group.

We have our rings on and factored in going to our own deity too, we are going to try a few things. 7/8 going soon.

It is a given that they are planning different things during the apocalypse. I think we should all just sit back and see what happens. Whatever does happen, it will no doubt be amusing.

Which makes me think something is going on behind the scenes with the npc because it always drops if some program is running and causes a change from the npc or entering a cs, So I think it tracks the amount of prayers applied. who knows but what Req says is true which makes me and should others scratch there head and say "why?"
