I strongly support FFT-based advanced classes. The Paladin being 30 GLA 20 CON thing as mentioned.

Edit: And you could do a quest to unlock them after you reach that point.

This would be a great idea. I remember that I wanted a system like this for FFXI way back in the day. =)
