Excitement about 2.0 and Ps3 FINALLY, and some ?

I have been waiting for the Ps3 version since FFXIV release, so first of all YAY, and finally summoners and such, thats the reason I got addicted to FFXI! I have been waiting so long, and I am SO HAPPY!

However I do have a question, I do have a account currently, do I need to buy Ps3 discs to play on it, or can i just log into my account and download the game via the play station store? And ideas? I dont really wanna buy the game twice, I was praying it would work on my PC, and did to some extent, but got really old fast with the lag fest!

Finally, Thank you SE and Dev team for making my dreams of a new FF world come true .

For the PS3 version, it's likely you're gonna have to buy the game to play it.

I'm absolutely certain you'll need to buy the PS3 version. It worked the same way with FFXI. If you played on PC, you still had to pay for a copy of it for PS2/360.

ya but I already have a copy of PC, and that code? Blah, i bet it works the other way, I know it did via my ps2 and xbox > pc. :-/

I'm pretty sure you'll have to buy a PS3 disk for it to work.

If its anything like how XI worked, you would need to buy a copy of the PS3 game. You can use the same login account you created on pc across both clients, so you're basically paying for just the game files (unless you create a new account with the code you get from the PS3 version)
