I did say to expect ARR no earlier than summer for obvious reasons..though I was just called 'pessimistic' :\

Even if this is true, it's hard to believe (or rather swallow) that FFXIV will be out of commission in an official sense for so long. Sure we'll have alpha and beta versions to keep some of us occupied but no retail version? I kind of figured they'd be working on ARR and then try to release not too long after removing the current version.

As for FF Versus XIII, I kind of figured it'd become vaporware or not come out for a very very lone time since we haven't had any new info in ages and FFXIII/FFXIII-2 have both been released.
