2.0 is likely to loosely follow the same schedule as 1.0 alpha/beta/release.

We know open beta starts in Jan 2013, so how long was it from the start of beta until release for 1.0? That's going to give you a rough estimate. I don't think it was 6 months, it was 1 month, maybe 2?

I agree maybe July for PS3 version.

Unfortunately people will listen to anything that is on the internet.

Just like the time people were led to believe that Versus XIII was cancelled. People will believe any source. The only time I will count anything as a fact is when the actual head developer comes out and says "This is what is happening.".

That would still leave 8 months of potential Beta time.

A lot of the info is internal, i.e pulling teams off x project to work on ARR which is something Wada has went on record of stating in a report recently. So we have that confirmed.

SE never gave an original release date to begin with and we already know with the pushed back Alpha and Beta dates they aren't on the PDF timeline currently.

This wasn't information from 2ch though as I was browsing it the first time hints even popped up about anything remotely related to ARR's release.

Only thing on 2ch besides the usual is about stuff happening within ARR alpha, which Yoshida is obviously playing as well.
