I may have missed the discussion on this, but did you guys already rule out her being the BLM? There's only 5 races, right? I have no idea whether that's the snooty elezen, the lady, or someone else entirely.
Well the stature is definitely Elezen. I wouldn't say there is enough bust for it to be the lady, although I admit screenshots are scarce.
The BLM is the male Elezen not the female so she not part of that party that we see there maybe they going to go pick her up.

Just thought I'd pop in with a little update on the time-table.
Comparing two scenes from the Limsa storyline, we see that the Sahagin began attacking Limsa (a) five years past, and (b) when the treasure was taken from seal rock.
I do believe that places the Leviathan incident around the same time.
Well, I was half right! TWAS BAHAMUT, NOT ODIN. At least we know what the valiant blades are, now.
Most of our original questions still stand. Until otherwise stated, I'm assuming that the female elezen would have been there, but couldn't log in due to lobby errors.
That might also explain why DRGs and MNKs have no representation.
Though I can't figure out why the GC leaders just stood there ... I know the chain of command must be protected but, come on, it's the end of the world. Throw a swing.

Yep, that was epic. Rather close to the mark on the "prison" concept, although I don't think we got it with the "valliant blades forged under twelve's good grace" bit. Well played, voidsent (and yes, I include the lore masters as voidsent).
Of course, in all of this, we didn't see any atomos. I'm still a little curious on that point.
Either way, it's 11/11 now, so it's over to Ferne!![]()
Maybe so SE could allow them to survive? if they had been in the frontlines i think poor louisoix might have struggled sending them away into the future as well.Just thought I'd pop in with a little update on the time-table.

Do we know how long Bahamut's been stuck in there? Kind of off topic but this has been bugging me - which Astral Era was the Allagan Empire active during?
7UP!
I took the "valiant blades forged under the Twelve's good grace" to be the giant swords-like items locking Bahamut in place.
As for how long he's been up there I don't know. It would seem that The Twelve locked him up in the first place, but Dalamud is specifically referred to as "the red moon of Allag," and they have technology allowing for its control.
I'd have to look this up to be sure, but I think the Allagan Empire fell after the Third Astral Era, ushering in the Fourth Umbral.
So either the Allag exiled Bahamut, or the Twelve did it for them.
What's interesting to me is that Bahamut is a god worshipped by dragons, not by man, and in the opening cutscene to 1.0 we see the dragons directly trying to interfere with the empire's plans.
Something's up there, too.
The good news is that the new cutscene didn't get us any new info about The AG Party or the 10 Years Ago Party aside from that they still hang out... though, I'm starting to question if they even have stories or names. I'd be a little disappointed if they are just proxies to represent "us."
Also, the concept art from earlier makes the Ultima-Gaius look a little like he's taken on some of Bahamut's form. I mean, they could just be similar due to archetype body forms that we associate with antagonists - but might be interesting if his newfound morphology were the result of the Empire's dealings with this new dragon god association.

Gaius has told us when, I just can't remember what he said. It was during that quest where you pilfer the wreckage of a ship he conveniently crashed for you.
I'll have to look up my recording (after live letter is done).
Also, do we know the dragons of Dravania worship Bahamut for sure? Logic suggests their affiliation was closer to Midgardsomr. That being said, Ishgard now has more of a reason to get involved now, dragon-haters that they are.
EDIT:
Here we go. From the quest "Don't hate the messenger."
Well, that gave more insight to the what but not the when. Let's jump to United we stand:Gaius:
I will not deny that the primals have proven a great nuisance. They have delayed our advance. It was to break the stalemate between us that Nael van Darnus sought to bring down Dalamud.
The impact of the red moon would destroy the primals in an instant. Little wonder that His Radiance embraced the scheme.
But Dalamud is no mere rock, despite what van Darnus would have us believe.
It is a great red sin, exiled to the skies by ancient Allag. There has it long festered, becoming something far more vile than we ever supposed.
I see proof of this in van Darnus. His manner is...altered. He is anxious. Uneasy. He deceives His Radiance.
Of those in your realm, only the son of Midas nan Garlond sees the red moon for what it is. His Radiance will reach the same conclusion in time.
Yet by then it will be too late. The shadow of Dalamud will already be dark upon these lands.
Oppose van Darnus and Meteor, if you wish. It is the only hope you have of sparing Eorzea from complete obliteration.
and now on to Kill a Raven:Nael:
But no more, for I shall halt the turning of this wheel of darkness! He has willed that it be so, and so it must be!
A few interesting finds, but alas, no era of note. Although I could have sworn something told me it was the third era... Gah!Nael:
It was I who raised for Thee this stout sanctuary, using the wisdom of ancient Allag and the offering of mine own frail flesh!

I got it in my notebook
-established sometime soon after the dawn of the 3rd astral era, more than fifty centuries past.
-thrived in Eorzea for more than 1000 years
-boundaries extending as far as the great cotninent to the north and east
-more advanced than garlean
