So it was always their intention of leaving all those lose ends in the main story but based in our big interest they will provide a quest to tie all in .. interesting

I don't think it was their intention at first, but when Yoshi-P took over the story shifted focus to Dalamud/7th umbral era and those stories were put on hold/scrapped
