My main character is actually Ul'dah > Twin Adder, although I ran through the Gridanian starter quests in reasonable detail multiple times using an alt, meaning I've delved much further into them than the Ul'dah quests. Go figure.

I've started a write-up for Sundered Skies.
Yeah see when I started my character 2 yrs ago I wasn't aware of who Thancred was >_> I started an alt in Limsa but by the time I really noticed Than it was too late to make another char to run through the Ul'dah storylines :/

Won't be making that mistake again in 2.0, especially since we get free characters with Legacy

I did play a friend's chara through the first 4 Ul'dah storylines and recorded them, watched them over and over so I have a pretty good idea about how they run. I guess you can say I took a "fresh" look to it, so it's still pretty clear in my memory how the events unfold.

With the Grand Companies, the quests don't differ all that much from each other, except the initial ones (which some require you to do before you can commit to one GC). I'd done the one with Than for Immortal Flames, but it'd been so long I didn't remember it at all (the one where he and Urianger train you or something).

Little Easter eggs I found doing the different storylines: in the fight against Gaius van Baelsar, your nation Circle member deflects his first attack after he knocks out your Path companion, i.e. Yda protected me because I was from Grid, Than protected my friend's chara because he was from Ul'dah etc.

The last CS in To Kill a Raven, where you approach the three GC leaders, your corresponding GC desk officer will salute you as you walk by, and your GC leader will step up to talk to you when you kneel :3
