So we can assume the Allgans were destroyed by something dealing with the Earth and not by Bahamut. All that power to seal Bahamut and they lose to an earthquake

Bahamut was still a power elder primal of it's time sure titan may have been there during that time but titan is noting when it come to bahamut. Remember that it took life energy from the earth to make dalamud and seal away bahamut. They could have been left defenseless once that done that with no more energy to use they would have die by any attack. Sometime the smartest civilization die by the most dumbest thing.

We don't know if that is how the Allgans sealed Bahamut. They were far more advanced than the Garleans today, so we can't say 100% that they used the land's aether and sealed Bahamut the same way Louisoix tried. I never said Titan had anything to do with it, it just merely states the Allgan Empire was destroyed in The Fourth Umbral Era. But we can assume it was destroyed because of said Earth event. But yeah if they sealed Bahamut, they could have been left defenseless after. I would theorize they were left with no other option but to seal Bahamut, you'd think he wouldn't just appear randomly and the Allgans go "oh we should seal that before it does harm," so I'd say they were probably at war with Bahamut (maybe the Dravnians as well) and they could not defeat it so they had to seal him away. If they did use a sealing technique similar to what Louisoix tried, maybe they drained too much aether from the land and caused earthquakes and or the land to literally collapse under their people. So the Earth events they caused (maybe Archons had a hand in it as well?) brought on the Fourth Umbral Age.

Will what we talk about here also is that the twelve are really not gods but just old technology left by allgans. Seeing how Circle of Knowing of the people are from Dravania region which is what louisoix is from he could have learn how to seal bahamut say way allgans people did.. The twelve could just be a very powerful technology or they could be powerful gods not a lot of information yet on that one.

Even how advanced a civilization can be they always would try to use the cheapest and fastest and strongest source of power which is known as aether they may had no other choice then use the aether even knowing how much it would mess up the world they live in. Maybe they knew to save other civilization they have to make that sacrifice i wish there was more go on .

I hoping the post that going to happen in a few days would fill in the blanks and give us enough information to go on but still having us guessing on what going to happen next never fun knowing everything :0
