What if Dalamud was always meant to be? Depending on how they are interpreted, there seems to be sublte hints all over that indicate, all that has come to pass was already written.

What if the "Past" was meant to fail? So a shining new future could reign under the watch of a powerful ruler. In a world that was recreated by the people, for the people.

Which quest is that from? I don't remember anything like this (Gridanian here)
Travanchet was from the Limsa Lominsan storyline, and that image was taken from the quest "Never Shall the Twain Meet", which was the last quest in the series before being scooted off to Ul'Dah to start the Path of the Twelve quests.

After analyzing the progression of quests in the original storyline, I wonder if their original vision was to layout the quests in the manner that FFXI did. By that I mean, you do about three ranks worth of missions for your home city, learn about the greater threat which is the Shadow Lord, then once he's defeated, go back to helping out your home city.

The feeling of incompleteness of your main city's storyline reflects this I think. The formula it followed was:

Do stuff pertaining to your home city
Learn about the Garlean threat, which was really never concluded since Gaius whooped some ass (Path of the Twelve)
(Incomplete step) Go back and deal with whatever was going on in home city. In the case of Limsa Lominsa, learn more about the Ascians and the Sahagin.

At least that's the way I felt it was going to play out.

I just looked at this CS again in full screen and I'm fully convinced now this represents the sealing spell of Bahamut each one of those things have a pointy tip and a deity symbol on the other end just like in the trailer ,also there seems to be a dragon shaped figure in the circle and last below and above is a "key" representing the final lock (?) to the spell ...remember the first piece that drops from Dalamud in the trailer and the tip that hits the ground first has no deity symbol.

So what does this mean? Minfilia witnessed this through Echo? as the leader of the organization we can assume she is more skilled using it

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I remember Minfilia does not posses the power of the echo. Those who are blessed with the echo gain mastery of all languages, I remember a CS where she requests your aid in translating Slyph chatter. I also thought she was the stand in leader until the real leader returned. Her title was Acting Antecedent? Perhaps the bigboss is the traitor teaching beastmen how to summon ^^?

Could it be that the paragon is Odin?...And Minfilia DOES have the Echo!!!

Minfilia:"Scores of men and women have passed through our doors looking to find answers, and scores have embarked on quests to do just that...but their efforts have gained us little...and many have not returned.
Of those few who have...not one is willing to speak of what he saw at the end of the Path. It is as if they all bore witness to a truth too terrible...or too shameful to be told.
There are those here who would have me use the Echo to delve into the past of the returned. Yet it would be wrong of me to use my gift to tear that truth from them against their will.
Were I to condone such an act of violation, we would be no better than the monsters people think us already."

Is the paragon the leader (former?) of the Path of the twelve? If so... I assume he's just an echo blessed person who saw some crazy shit :P?

    My own speculation ^^;
Odin is the Ascian Primal :P Quick! watch the CS to see if Odin has a shadow xD

This leaves me to wonder about Louisoix. I mean, he talks your ears off. He knows an awful lot about primals and lore, even for a sholar. During the battle with Bahamut he wields incredible power, just look at the size and strength of his shield. He is even able to rebuild the shield while he is getting hit.

Then there is sheer power and MP required for the spell to rip all the adventurers from time itself.

Another thing that puzzles me: When the twelve start to respond to the prayers and their "keys" begin to appear, it looks like Louisoix casts a big glowing "key" into the sky himself.

Who exactly is Louisoix? Can it be that he is a manifestation of Thaliak?

I think Louisoix is standing on a big rock that's on-top of the Thaliak symbol ...the one you visit last on "living on a prayer"

Yeah, they've been very careful to leave plausible deniability about the nature of the members of the Circle of Knowing, although several of them can do some fairly ridiculous things (Y'shtola showing up multiple times via the echo, bullet-catching in a Limsa cutscene... not sure if Thancred does anything supernatural other than be unfathomably hot, and Louisoix goes without saying.)

Was already stated that Loiusiox was just channeling the twelve's power.

"Louisoix quickly conjures a barrier to protect what remains of the Eorzean Alliance, and then begins the arcane rite that will channel the power of the Twelve and focus it into rebinding Bahamut. The sheer force of the primal, however, is too strong for even the Archon, and his efforts fail."

"Realizing the end is nigh, Louisoix summons the last of his strength to call upon Althyk, the Keeper, god of space and time, to send those surviving heroes into an aetherial rift, where they are to remain untouched by the passing of the seasons until it is once again safe to emerge...and continue their struggle to forge Eorzea's future."
