Looking forward to it!
Advance apologies if reading through all of our no doubt error-filled conjecture sprees was tedious... [/whistles]

So Dravnians will be Beastmen? Weird because I thought they were designing them to be a playable race. Also didn't Ifrit say we have our own Primal? So either Ifrit is lying or the lore is changing.
Can't wait for the lore update Ferne.

Ahhhh, that is true. The phrase is definitely ambiguous enough for the "unanticipated" primal to be those that came into the world on Midgardsormr's death, isn't it...
Good call, there.
As for draconic beastmen, it's going to be interesting to see how they bring this in. The game seems to imply that the beast tribes we have now were once normal animals that were transformed, possibly by their gods. Might the Amal'jaa just be salamanders? The Ixal vultures? The Kobolds rodents? If each of these is true, it certainly holds possible that the dragons were gifted in some way, as well.
That part is also a little ambiguous though - the beast tribes might have just been made more... mean... by the primals, lol.

Yeah definitely a bit more mean, Amalj'aa and Ixali use to trade with humans. Seems like Sahagins were always at odds with Limsa and Leviathan did appear around the same time as Ifrit, so we could assume it made them bolder. But they do seem to have a human contingent, I forget what they're called, but its the people that work for the Sahagins. Sylphs may have their Primal but they happily work with the Gridanians, but Sylphs also seem less 'beastish.' Don't really remember any instances, besides Aleport Hamlet, to where Kobolds openly attacked people except if they wandered into their mines. It'll be interesting to hear where these Gigas (concept pdfs) come from. If Dravnians are going to be a new Beastmen Tribe and they worship Bahamut, I guess we could say we might be fighting them soon.

i think i said that in this topic or other amal'jaa where small lizard in ul'dah area when ifrit came to the land. Everything burn and he found that the lizard was not. He was so impress by this that he give them them a gift and give him some of his power making them turn into the beastmen we know today as amal'ja. The Ixal also got a gift from garuda they also could Fly but ended getting bored of that gift so ended up losing it but in return learn how to build many type of new technology.
There not so much information on Koblods or the rest of the beastmen but i guess they follow the same. But the idea SE went is that there was normal mobs more normal then let's say salamanders because there was small lizard that ifrit saw.
@NoloeTazier that make no sense to what the NPCS lore said in each of the 3 citys ul'dah one said what i just said above that they was lizard that did not get burn by ifrit.

Why doesn't it make sense? Amalj'aa and Ixali use to trade crystals to humans but around the time when the Primals appeared, they began to hoard them and use them only to summon their Primals. We learned this in the Path of the Twelve story.
Also here's Ifrit:
Ifrit: You avow yourselves blessed by gods, yet lack the capacity to summon them to your aid.
Ifrit: To which do you kneel, mortals?
Path Companion: I kneel to no false gods.
Ifrit: Fools. Blind to the grace of those who would grant you protection and bless you with their fortune.
Path Companion: And who is it that protects me now?
Amalj'aa: Blasphemy! Death to the heathens!
Amalj'aa: Mind your tongue when speaking to the Lord of the Inferno, lest we cut it out!
Ifrit: I smell the taint upon your soul. Is it Garuda...or Titan? Perchance...Leviathan?
Path Companion: I know not of what you speak.
Ifrit: Vex me not, mortals. The Paragon warned of the godless blessed.
Ifrit: There can only be one TRUE god in this world, and those without cannot be allowed to roam unchecked.
Ifrit: Yet the Paragon has entreated that I spare you, and so I shall--on one condition.
Ifrit: Vow that you shall forsake the summoning of Another. Do so, and your sins will be absolved. Refuse me, and your soul will burn for eternity.
Amalj'aa: On your knees, heathens, and give your oath! In the name of Ifrit, Almighty Lord of the Inferno!
Amalj'aa: Almighty Lord of the Inferno!
He knows we worship the Twelve but thinks it is funny we cannot summon them like the Amaj'aa can summon him. "Blind to the grace of those who would grant you protection and bless you with their fortune." This line leads me to assume that Ifrit thinks we are worshipping the wrong "gods," that we aren't actually worshipping the god(s) that ACTUALLY watch over us. Then he begins to question to which Primal it is, but he himself doesn't know which it actually is. And whoever the Paragon(s) are, they taught the Beastmen how to summon the Primals but also warned the tribes AND the Primals themselves about us.
Yeah, instead of evaporating away like Ifrit and Garuda, it's merely rotting like a normal animal. Kinda gross.Either way, it at least solves a big issue for me - if he's not a primal, we don't need to know why his dead husk is still there instead of going back to aether.

Will either the NPC is saying there was lizard who trade with humans then ifrit came and give them a gift or the npc words just not use right or i read it wrongeither way i'll go with the idea that they was beastmen lizards then ifrit came makem ore sense anyways.
I don't think he rotting like a normal animal i think he preserve like that. I think the reason the primals blow up and evaportating when they die like that is because we don't really see the real primal it's just there shadow in a way of themself showing in our world to summon there full body into our world would take a lot of power i wonder if this part is true what would take to bring out the real primals into our world,.
I wonder what the other primals beastmen could be like Odin is a Elder Primal i wonder if he take the empire side or he would just be random primal we have to fight.
I also hope we get more information on circle of knowing we know that they hails from the city-state of Sharlayan in the northwestern Dravania region and marked by the tattoo on their neck. But i guess we find up more information when they release that city-state i guess that when we get to meet Roegadyn Archon named Ahldbhar.

Actually, I rigorously continuity-checked this earlier today. Look at the lore on the website -
The Empire took over Ala Mhigo 15 years ago, /was stopped by the unexpected presence of a Primal/, waited around 5 years for reasons we don't know, then tried to press forward into Eorzea, //and then were stopped decisively at the battle of Silvertear Falls//, and have been waiting another 10 years since then.
Curiouser and curiouser!
