I just think some expectations were too high for a client that is not going to receive future updated and not only that but will no longer be used period. Star Trek Online is now F2P and is still receiving updates and they cant even fix shit like this



Havent logged in yet but i've been happy with what they have done over the past year since their 2.0 announcement. They didnt have to do any of this at all, they could have just pulled the plug and focused all efforts on the remake but they didnt (obviously a smart move).

So they're not focusing efforts on the relaunch (that's in public testing at this moment) and even talked about the lack of development on 1.0 due to pulling most of the team off of it to push ARR further and not to mention bringing about an apocalypse essentially to pull the plug?

I loled. In 2.0, no one in the forums except a few will get that joke.. and we'll probably have x100 Rokien threads as well..

Well so far every single post I've seen Elexia have in context of the current events happening has been very negative and sarcastic. If that's not oozing pessimism, I don't know what is. Also, about Starlord.... (not commenting)

@Elexia - Oh, I think I misunderstood you; I was referring to what was going on in-game at the moment, not when they pull the servers down and continue the testing. They didn't pull the plug on final save - they left the game up for a few special events and last goodbyes. -lives in the present, not the future-

Also, hint; drop the sarcasm level down a lot, please. You're coming off as very confrontational and unhappy. Unless you want to be seen as such.

@Elexia: Well, that was a much more polite version of 'sarcasm', haha. I prefer if you could post more like that, because it's hard to approach your posts if they ooze confrontational sarcasm.

I also made a list of current events happening-

Current known events for last days:
- Mobs outside and inside of Ul'dah
- Imperials around Eorzea again
- Atomos and Voidsent; new changes
- Lightning weather effect
- Creepy version of Answers
- The Twelve crystal stones glowing and oozing aether

And probably not something to note, but I find it personally attracting:
- Thaliak's stone (the Mor Dhona one) is letting off a vibrating and eerie noise

This is exactly what they're doing though.

I meant they could have pulled the plug a year ago. also, they could have just closed the servers last night at midnight. but i guess there is just no pleasing some people.

Indeed, I talk in sarcasm. That's exactly why I said this could be seen as testing for 2.0 content since we obviously seen them do certain things like this in XI that ended up as a basis for 1.0's content. Like I said before:
