What will happen to our Macros?

Will FFXIV remember our macros in 2.0? Or will be have to start over again?

There are a couple of macros that I don't want to lose. Should I go through and Copy/Paste my macros into a text file so I can re enter them in 2.0?

I think you should back them up because if we have new skills they might remove old macros

Back them up if you want, but I'd be surprised if they mean anything at all when 2.0 hits.

You can keep your macro file on your PC, but maybe the file is not compatible with the new client.
Most macros you need to make new anyway. Because of new skills, gear set and other things

You'll probably have to redo everything, I have mine backed up but I don't think they will work with ARR.

they will definitely remove old macros, but it's still a good idea to back them up just in case. or at least remember/record how they're layed out, what gear you used etc.
