lol it might be just me and a few others, but I'll definitely miss, XIV 1.0, all the memories, good or bad, still brings me joy whenever I remember them, all the friends I made, and all the experience I had in XIV, It will never be forgotten

(FFXIV is one of the first MMOs I've played, and is the first p2p MMO I have ever played)

coming off from playing FFXI for 5-6 years i had high expectations for XIV at launch , i think its safe to say we were all let down =P , but at the same time that reminded me of how FFXI got started, it only got better with expansion packs but still even then it was more fun then XIV launch lol

1.0 goodbye ! , 2.0 here we come ! ... well in a few months xD

Same here. I did play it while it was playable, so I'm thankful for that.

I'm happy tonight because me and my friends managed to defeat even Nael deus Darnus, when just a week ago we still needed Ifrit Extreme for our Relics.

We are proud of it, because now we can say to have beaten every challenge of this game, and in a sort of way to have completed it.

Now we wait "A Realm Reborn" with huge hopes and expectations, and we can't wait to come back in Eorzea!

Thank you Final Fantasy XIV and Naoki Yoshida for these 2 long years, in which you tried to keep our fun high, even with all the troubles the game had to face. Now take all the time you need to create the most beautiful MMORPG that was ever made.

I joined in August 2012, wish i joined 1 month earlier so i could have mos my goals accomplished :\ and, for me, while i played, it was great and i'll totally miss alot of the stuff that is going to be changed (zone musics, instead of all tracks play in a zone, TP building to be able to use WS's, etc. made it feel more like XI which is my favourite MMORPG (even tho i dont play it anymore due to how damn easy it is now.... /sigh)). Last time i played was during beta, where i played for only like 3 days because my pc didnt run it, which now it actually did lol, so i guess the spects went lower in a way, because i can play it ok with all on minimum, altho i did play on another PC that runs its smooth, but could have started way earlier if i knew that pc ran it ok. Personally for the 3 days i played of beta, i enjoyed them, which was on a friends pc, but i do know it was way too messed and not balanced at all, the lag on menus, on teleports (specially at atomos now), crafting, gathering, etc. Hopefully i enjoy XIV 2.0 as much or even more than i did on 1.xx. Please make 2.0 rock and steal all the gamers that left XIV to other mmo's back to XIV! And even more!
