I totally forgot about that, is China really getting their servers on lockdown? Silly China government >.>

Should check out what they did to WoW, not allowed to show undeads and such lol - also changed the Panda designs being largely Japanese to being Chinese.. Not that MoP did much for itself in seriousness when it said it was introducing pokemon lol. . .

China by law would be running on there own world/servers and i'm sure anything to do with undead would be change also lol. let hope they don't get lock to only china worlds that would suck real bad

I'm also disappointed when I first making account and found Timor Leste listed and Indonesia (which is more bigger brother) are not.

Rina_inverse... yeah doesn't really matter to me that I don't get to participate in these contests... but support issues go further, what if you paid for the game and still couldn't get proper technical support should something go wrong while you play it?

Bobbin... I take it that you're residing in Indonesia? To which I wonder how come you are able to get on these forums when I, only a couple of hundred kilometers away north... couldn't...

Now I take back my words when I said...lumping SEA with China would be logical geographically..... after reading that bit about their laws..... nooooooooooo! Otherwise I might have to consider migrating to another country just to play FF XIV..... well Brunei isn't that far away from where I am but there's nothing there but oil~~~~~~~~

I'm also reside in Singapore and have no problem logging into the game and forum at all in the past 2 years. A lot of players in my server are from SEA region and they seems to be able to log in just fine as well.

And yeah, it sucks to have to import the game and put in false country information to be able to play, like we're illegal immigrants or something. :-(

Weird! I know of at least a couple of SEA-ians, Singaporeans included, on my server who couldn't register and get on the official forums... if you do come across others with the same problem, tell them to try accessing this forum via an anonymous proxy (like www.zend2.com) and that should work. It took me 2 yrs to figure that out

We the illegal citizens of Eorzea... pledge ourselves as one maybe not-so-united nation... regardless of race, language or religion... LOL.... maybe when 2.0 comes up we find ourselves branded with a little mark on our forearms that says so... this sounds like FF XIII

I'm wondering if the devs have a response to any of this? Even something along the lines of "ok we'll get back to you at some point while the world is still alive" will do - chances are this may not be in their jurisdiction.

Yes, I do reside there. But it's not like I don't have problems. I remember early days when I decide to use forums for perusing some knowledge and I can't get in. Mailed to SE and only about a day later that I can start making post in it.

Another thing... I am using 2 internet providers: a stable ADSL one using @ home, has very few conns problems and a CDMA one for office and outside usage. There r times when the game keep giving yellow or even red conns, and lodestone r usually the worst to load. That's why when I logon outside home, I usually concentrate on solo stuff.

Can't say the same things lately since the rush to finish as much content as possible coming with final save. For this last month, I even spammed AV/CC and even Garuda for sake of achievement clearance. Luckily, my cdma provider performs quite well. XD

Oh... and I dunno if this relates, but I do bought the EU version since it was sold very cheap compared with NA ones. Might be the reason why my country wasn't listed. Maybe US version have more diverse in country choices.

(right now clearing spaces and hoping can jump in to Rivenroad Hard and do more Garuda to get weapon(s) or farming more totems

Resides at Indonesia too, never have issues with forum but payment method was largely annoying before, couldnt even give SE money until they implement direct CC method.
