    Its most likely going to be a cutscenes though why else do we have the timer . Also perhaps a different bg playing. Maybe more cactuars. Also more npcs spamming the chat log lol.

    Maybe just for "fun"? to see how the world is going to end is awesome to me..

    Ok so "fun" is logging in for 10 days for the chance of a cutscene is "fun"? or an event where there has been very little build up or info about what is going to happen. With everything you do during that time being erased soon.
    I can watch the cutscene on youtube any time i want to . Why waste my time logging in . Not like i anything i do during that time is saved.

    I am someone who doesnt bother with achievements or seasonal events as well.

    Now if progress was saved i would feel less like my time was being wasted.
