SE, We want more hairstyles in A Realm Reborn!

Alright, so before everyone jumps the gun and yells at me; I know this has been posted in other topics already. I know that any added hairstyles might not be in the character creation video because its only an alpha build (Video was great, btw ^.^).

But just in case, I wanted to make a dedicated topic to it so we can make sure that SE sees this and knows that we're adamant about wanting more hairstyles! Upvote this and show the Devs! It would be great to see someone from the Dev department post on this and let us know if anything is planned!

We've only just begun with testing A Realm Reborn! Without going into specifics, we can safely say that there will be more options to choose from when it comes to the customization categories in later builds (like additional customization options for Miqo'te tails!)

We don't know what else they'll add if anything, but it's alpha and they're outright saying more stuff (not necessarily hair though) will be added to it. If they add an in-game option to change hair and whatnot post-creation then they can add more hairstyles over time as well.

Yeah we gave a lot of excuses pre-launch for 1.0 but we were also dealing with a completely different team. A team that didn't communicate nearly as well with us and hardly listened.

People tried to complain, but were mostly STFU'd by people saying "it's just alpha" followed by "it's just beta" followed by "it's just open beta". In the end nothing changed. It will be the same this time too, if we think something is wrong and don't mention it, how the hell are they supposed to know something is wrong?

This. Most games nowadays have more options than what SE offers with the character creator at the moment. Should they really add another 20 options for beta, then it should be enough. What we have now is definitely not, though.

It is NOW free, it wasn't always that way. It started out and was pay-to-play for well over 2 years.

Even more of a reason to implement more styles since FFXIV is p2p too, them wanting to meet mmo standards and all. It's more understandable in my eyes to have little customization in a low-budget f2p games than in an AAA p2p one.

Aion does have awesome CC, I give it that, but I don;t like the idea of heads being a dot or heads being the size of my belly, I don't like the fact that there is a twig looking body and a Choji from Naruto looking body. While I like the fact you can do basically "anything" on Aion's CC, there certain things "nitpicking wise" that I wish they didn't up in there. Because you know, they seem WAY out of control.

Fat and skinny people are fine, but there's a limit to that.. and when it becomes this ----------------------________________________----------------------------------------------------- fat or this -.- skinny, then to me it's like.. why...

With Aion there is no limitation (which is good in a way) but making it so you make your character looking like a green bean or a Killed pig, just is o.o.

Everything else is fine, lots of hair styles, lots of colors to make the eyes/hair/lips etc. I love all those. Aion is better than 1.0 CC, Can;t say about 2.0 because the full version isn't out yet, but if your asking me how it stands right now, Aion has a better CC.

Seriously more customization for miqote tails? thats sooo exciting for me as a lalafell -.-. Why could the rep mention something else lol.

I hate how often i see other lalafells who have my hairstyle :-( . I want to be a unique snowflake. Though i really hope my only new hairstyle isnt onion head ...
