It would helps to bring the people to use other classes than only ranged classes

i dont think so, i think it would help make people bring mages and tell them to stand outside the circle

the prob with close range combat in 1.0 are the massive damage aoes and animation lock. If the get rid of animation lock then i dont see a need for visual aoe q's.
