Alpha First Look: Video 1 - Character Creation

Ok so this video is out, and it looks amazing. My question is, are we going to be able to change the way our current characters look when ARR launches? Theres a bunch of new customisations now that werent there when some of us made these characters. Myself for example, created mine the day of live release back in 2010.

Why would you not be able to use the new customization when you can recustomize? Why would they lock of selections to you? makes no sense.

This has been known for months now. They had it in interviews since about e3 2012 =) So hope that makes you happy!

Players would not to ask this stuff if they kept up with the scoop.

I think they said they "WILL" allow gender changes, what I want to know is if you "DO" change your gender, will gender specific items in your inventory change? For example will a "Lady's" Yukata in your inventory, change to a "Lord's" Yukata.

Yeah, they did say some time ago that the will have a way to change the gender specific items.
