I think people are misinterpreting the info about quests- It was said that your *progress on quests* would be reset- it didn't say that all those quests would be removed. Some of them may be, but you need to be careful making assumptions about things that haven't been explicitly stated.

Rukkirii posted in a thread that the Commemorative Coin should be traded before the final save if you want the company seals, else they're going to give something else for it, potentially a gil value. I think this alludes to company seals staying.

That's not what she said- she said you will still be able to exchange the coin, but that it is currently undecided if it will give seals or gil (or something else).

This does suggest to me though that company seals may be depreciated.

You dont loose rank progression in that company, you do loose Seals.

It is identical to XI's home nations. In XI if you switch nation you lost CP and kept Rank.

All I really want to know is if Sentinel's gear will be 1.0 exclusive. If so, I'd like to go about finishing off the set before the final save. More than likely though it will be a common quest-able item. It's pretty much useless at this point but it looks cool.

It's been said with the exception of a handful of items (I read this as Dalamud Horn, White Ravens, seasonal items), most things will still remain in ARR. The items that do stay may just be obtained in a different fashion. I think Sentinel gear will still be there, it may just not come out of stronghold coffers anymore.
