Info on Regional Servers?

Can we get some info on which servers are going to be in which territories? like if they are going to have the same names as current ones, if there will be new ones? or anything else so we can kind of collaborate with the people who are currently playing. I know a lot of people use Guildwork or whatever to communicate outside of the game but it would help a lot of people who you maybe dont talk to all the time figure out where to go afterwards to find them in 2.0

Yup that's it...not like it hasn't been adressed by the Community reps yet.

While we do care, we also realize the futility of the same questions being asked while being given the same response

i hope that the devs know what they are doing with this server stuff ...it is very important to some that they do not segregate NA, JP, EU, and PS3 players. if we want a ffxi community feel to the game it is crucial to have a good mix of all on each server or this game will end up like the other trashy mmo's.

With regional server this will happen, since most ppl will chose the region they live in.

I would have thought that if they are stress testing alpha client and soon 29th oct starting alpha they would be doing it on the said regional servers. Maybe they are not but gosh I with they would. It only makes sense to test everything as much as possible. "No Suprises".
