You're barking up the wrong genre these days if you think content designed to be easy won't be a "joke" to people the content isn't designed for. Did you complain that Toto-rak was easy because you did it at level 50 rather than it's recommended level in a party?


um, actually the first time i did it i was the right party lvl... and skirmish was lvl 50 content i thought, it would make more sense if it was lvl 40 maybe i guess.

Yeah, its pretty easy for a full endgame party - As it turns out, Shposhae and Toto-Rak are easy for endgame parties as well.
Darkhold too. If you want to fight full power World Spawns and Bosses..do the respective dungeons. I can't name one FF game that reuses bosses in a different location that isn't easier than their initial encounter. Especially in an MMO world, look at XI even Kirin and Qilin summons the other gods which are still strong but not as strong as their original versions.
I don't see the purpose of making casual content also designed for non casual players..this is a new era of MMOs, got to get used to the fact there will be more content like this designed if they expect XIV to succeed.
It's called doing the actual raids the bosses come from.
Spam 17TA or Garuda and don't bother with skirmish. It's not for you (obviously), it's for people who can't do 17TA or Garuda but still want to fight bosses and get decent weapons.

I hope they would add Garuda extreme, only Garuda extreme drops weapons because Garuda difficulties is such a joke.

Molly, your spreadsheet is not really doing you any favors in making your case. Why would anyone take an acc and dps decrease (and spend gil on melding) to get roughly the same enmity generation? A WAR tank's damage output is a pretty significant part of what they do, you're shooting yourself in the foot there.
I always just saw this version of it as a way to keep us occupied without the devs needing to spend much time to create new content they will just be changing in a few months. I am not saying its going away in 2.0 but it certainly always just seemed like filler to me. Love the idea of being able to make it harder though.

If you can get a garuda weapon a giantsgall axe would be a side grade at best.
