I'm willing to bet there will be a live event of some sorts from Nov. 1st-11th but we'll never actually experience the real fall of Dalamud in anything but the video. I don't see how it would be even technically feasible to do that. However I do expect that they will do something for those 11 days.

I discovered the problem, for those who can't see the banner.

You need to install the latest flash, SPECIFICALLY for IE... Go to the flash download website, click "for other browsers", select Internet Explorer, and install it.

Yeah I would love to see that... 1.0 released full CGI intro before game release and it got me hooked to this game

I think the close we'll get to a live event is a dev posting a 10 second clip from "Armageddon" titled 'Here you go', and a square office party celebrating the end of one of their worst releases.
