While playing Forza Horizon I just remembered it, and wrote this up in about 20 minutes (while taking screenshots and digging up old ones I had, lol). Then I lost track of how long it was taking me to type it up, so by the time I was ready, it was already over. That thread must either auto-close, or that Rep was waiting to hit the button!
Literally a bad work, IMO. But I hope someone enjoys it, :P.
Welcome to the shroud of night, young adventurers, and let me tell you of a tale of one man's journey.
Within the bustling walls of Ul'dah, was a tale passed by townsfolk within the upper classes. Speaking in an extravagant manner only matched by the jewerly upon their bodies, was the story of an ancient treasure able to rewrite history once housed by the now-vanished city of Sil'dah. Upon learning of this tale, the naive youth pressed the subject out of curiousity, learning of a nearby burial tomb related to the great city.
Despite this tale sounding like a dream within a dream, the adventurer was fascinated at the idea of rewriting the past.
After a few days travel, the man arrived at the hidden tomb. The air was filled with nauses dust and what could only be described as burning carcasses. Upon approaching, a voice echoed within the chamber.
"Foolish adventurer, if thou seeks the ancient power of Sil'dah, thou must cease thy desires at once. If thou wishes to proceed, make way to the lake of Mor Dhona. Thou hast been warned."
Silence fell, leaving the young man in shock and astonishment.
With haste, the man hurried to Silvertear Lake, where the remains of a dragon upon a Garlean airship stood within the center. As the man approached to the dead waters, another voice arose from the waters, but once again with no source to be sought.
"You who have come to seek the ancient treasure of Sil'dah, I give you one final decision: Do you wish to rewrite history such as the Sil'dahns did?"
Without hesitation, the adventurer agreed to receive it. And within mere seconds...
Nothing...
Nothing existed, and existence was nothing...
For the history that was rewritten, was that of the adventurer...
And the knowledge of this story, will also be rewritten...
