Hum. I <3 my husband, but there's just no way I'd want to share a house with him in game when given the option of my own. Why? Because then I couldn't decorate exactly how I want it because he'll want a say in it too. I have to compromise design decisions IRL already! In game, if I want a purple roof on my house then I'm going to have it! If I want a polka dot comforter then I'm going to have one!

Other couples might not have such strong opinions on decorating as we do though I like the convenience factore of couples housing and storage, but I'll happily give up that idea to know I can paint my walls dayglow yellow if the mood arises.

A note to the devs: If you do decide to implement shared housing for couples, please make it optional! I'd love to do the in game wedding again like my husband and I did in FFXI, but I don't want that to lock me into sharing my pixel house with him.
