Opera House and other social events.

It would be good to have something to do in the game other than fighting, crafting.
This is a MMO with a friendly community so socializing is a important factor too.
Making friends and chatting is fun.

- My idea would be adding a Opera house that would have NPC musicians playing random tracks from all FF games (not just FFXIV) SE has the rights to all tracks anyway...

- Apart from that SE also has a number of tracks with vocals, so there could be some concerts with NPC singer performing the songs.

It is all a lot less complicated to make as it sounds if you think about it.

- There should be halls for dancing as well and some beautiful lounge for people to sit down.(with NPC waitress coming to your table)

- On some days when the opera house is not used by the NPC people who are into RPG could perform their own shows.

- Live events
instead or on top of the seasonal events with the bells there could be mini quests held by GMs. Live events would be so much more fun and IMO easier to create than scripted quests. The mini games could be something as simple as racing around Uldah or the GM could spawn some mobs for people to defeat, or crafting contest.

(To save man power the live events could take place on different days for each server)

Developer could also visit the events and maybe say a few words.

There is a sort of music hall in Gridania already. Maybe something is already on track about it.

Btw i'm agree with you and it would be really nice to add these kind of social events along with some social games, like card games or something in that, still closed, Casinò in Uldah. Hope to see something about it in the near future.
