[dev 1037] Suggestion: New targeting system and custom target mode idea

Mode A (All)

Mode B (Custom): let user config their own favorites (see image) --> http://postimage.org/image/kbff6z8k/

Mode C (Attacker): Enemies only

Mode D (Tanker): Enemies, Self

Mode E (Healer): Party only

Mode F (Red Mage): Party, Enemies


other suggestion: Up and Down button are using for Action Bar, why you have to assigned them to switch between target types? change it to PgUp and PgDown or something else please

too many options... it should be all easy and user friendly.

in my idea we should have the old targeting system again but you should be able to switch the target with a simple double click on a directional button.

I still think its too complicated. Gotta remember some ppl do have disabilities who play mmo. And having a system like this might overwhelm them.

games should be fun not a pain in the butt.

and how hard will that be? Sorry if I sound like a pain. But considering I got ADD over complicated system can be overwhelming and hard to learn.

I also hope you know I'm not saying you idea is bad. I think they should just do tarheting like they did in ffxi. Least for me I was able to do stuff pretty quickly. Even as a melee rdm I was quick to cure/ refresh ppl w.o anyone complaining or asking.

You know what? I like the two targeting modes now and would like them to keep those.

I like your B Mode though, as it could be implemented as a C mode, as your own options of targeting. May be useful when you want to target your own desired targets from time to time

But as I wrote before, I think that the targeting doesn't need any fixing at all, since I like it the way it is.
People always have other opinions, and I'd like to read those too =)

I know someone like it as it is. so I don't want the "A" mode get any change but at least add more option for someone who don't like both current A and B, as a C option
