Which music you want to keep, which to go?

Ul'dah/Limsa Lominsa and Personal chocobo theme have got to go for sure, but to be honest I hope they do a massive rework because a lot of the music simply doesn't fit.

Technology really improved a lot ^^:

I'd like to see them turn the goobbue music into a field theme.... it really should be.

Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger/Cross, Xenogears) would be amazing! (apparently he was asked to work on FFXI's soundtrack but was too busy at the time)

Still SE has plenty of awesome composers in-house or able to hire on a contract basis. Nearly every amazing track in FFXI was written by either Kumi Tanioka or Naoshi Mizuta.


Hitoshi Sakimoto (FFXII, Ogre Battle,) Would be another great one to have on board.

It's so peaceful and by far the only area i would unmute the client volume just to listen to.

On Windy Meadows will be a definite BGM that must survive. I really fall in love with that song! XD
2nd would be Gridania theme since it makes me feel how peaceful the place is.

But overall... I really enjoyed almost all BGM. The only BGM i might not miss is the GC chocobo theme, rather have the rental Chocobo theme since it's more catchy.
