What XIV can take from XI to make it better

I quit right before abyssea, but when the cap was 75, none of that stuff was easy to get - and it took years before it was common to see.

In fact back then, FFXI players complained so much about the heavy competition over NMs that most of them either had their drops replaced with Rare/Ex versions, their drops were moved to BCNM, or were changed to triggered spawns.

Those were the cutsie little baby diaper changing items like Emp pin and leaping boots.

We're talking about big boy items here. D ring, Ridill, E body.
