Well, everyone I knew quit except for about 4 of them. I think you feel the numbers stayed the same because of the rush of bad people who came back seeing that they were now on the "same level" as people who previously were leaps and bounds a head of them. I stayed for 80, then 85, but the game was just going south.

Abyssa was just silly, more retextured zones just like WoTG, barely anything "new" except a few new alien looking mobs. It makes me sick even thinking about it. They sure wanted that extra 30 bucks out of every player bad.

People getting jobs to max level in a few days because of Abyssa... This along with seeing 14 coming out, showing just how dated the game had become, and knowing that sooner or later that perfect gear set you worked for years on will mean nothing sealed the deal.

What I personally loved about the game was gone.

It did without a doubt make 7~9 years of work worthless and ruined the game for people who valued their equipment. I feel SE did it as a last ditch effort to keep people interested in the game still after 14 had come out, not knowing how badly it would fail. Either way, it doesn't matter now.

Anything they do to 14, level cap raising or new gear that is better than darklight won't matter basically because this game is so stupidly easy. Everything will be obtained in a few months by the people who are good and the others will wallow in failure pick up groups because they're "casual" whilst crying on the forums for SE to make it easier.

Any idea of dedication even being relevant in this game, or any MMO for that matter right now, is a joke.
