No ARR until July 2015 guys.
We're all going to log in using NerveGears (or something equivalent).

I'm not sure I'd wait that long, but if I'd definitely want support for it later on down the road if we did get something like it.
In the short term, I'm hoping SE takes a look at the Oculus Rift. That would be cool.

how about we all take a breather and realize that the time has finally come for the game to be redone. after all the hate that has been smeared on this game ( not including us ) lets take a step back, appreciate what weve done, and actually do something outside of eorzea

Oh man I thought this was a forum and instead I seem to have found my way into a private argument that doesn't concern me.... I'll just let myself out...
I found this quote from RPGamer website this morning. It was from a recent interview with Yoshi. It wasn't part of the actual interview just a footnote at the bottom of the page.
"RPGamer would like to thank Naoki Yoshida and the PR team helping Square Enix for arranging this interview. Stay tuned for more information as we near the 2013 release of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PC and PlayStation 3."
Are they hinting at a 2013 release? Do they know something we don't?

In the time it takes to complain in this thread, you could have accomplished whatever the few hours of time zone difference you didn't account for would have taken from you
