i'm not arguing against having them. what i was arguing against was the "brilliant" idea that for mages they could just make convert type moves use tp and not give any weaponskills. that to me is more of an ignorant statement than most threads that get posted on the forums.

the part of the post you were talking about is me saying that for it to use tp as a weaponskill for a mage it would need to give some kind of help for the party or do high enough damage that it would be worth using if it was put in.

all i was stating is that there's plenty of ways to put in a useful ws for the mage classes and still keep the balance to the other classes. i'd rather have a ws that did low damage, but that added either a magic defense down or defense down debuff on the mob for the party to benefit from using it. even an ability like flashfreeze that would knock the legs out from under a mob so people could straight zerg for a while without having to worry about dodging would be nice.
