Not very. Used to be excited for it when I figured it was going to be 1.0 as it should have been, with a proper server architecture and client side interface that was very responsive like it's predecessor, but now it just seems like they're settling just to make it stand into the crowd, nothing particularly special.

ARR definitely won't be the best MMO out there, honestly there probably never will be a great MMO ever again as developers are content with trying to appeal to the "standard" and not tasking any more risks. As Daniel Erickson said as he was leaving Bioware, creating a game with the sole purpose of monetization in mind is not the same thing as creating a good game essentially.

That's all new MMOs are created for, they're not being created with risks or innovation in mind anymore. If SE does something to make ARR standout, maybe it'll do fine...however just slapping in FF locations and monsters that you don't even grind on..well, what does it have beyond basic MMO features? Why should you pick up ARR rather than any other existing MMO?
