What's your definition of fixing the game?

Since reading these forums it seems that people have either their own ideals on what would fix this game or a blurred set of ideologies that just turns it into a jumbled mess of bitterness.

Personally, I think this is what will fix the game:

- Better Battle System
- Better Class System
- Balancing of attributes
- Moving the interface client side
- Changing food property
- Removing the surplus system even though it rarely affects me
- Rank level specific gear (dress up does only so much for you right now)
- Better Core Mechanics
- Overall game balance from monsters to NPC placement and atmosphere.

Basically, everything they're focusing on right now in order to get the content done correctly.

What is your PERSONAL OPINION on what will fix the game?

I detect misplaced sarcasm. Considering the current form of seasonal event, they take minimal development resources, and give a little bit of an incentive to log in to players that have little to do, that's a good thing.

Going beyond the misplaced sarasm and back to the topic, I would say giving people things to do. The system isn't perfect, but even with a perfect system, not having stuff to do in the game causes people to log out. It's that simple.

Making it into a WoW/FFXI combo. That's what the polls told me.

When people want to play is more then people who want to quit would be a start.

But more technically speaking, when you can finally have the majority of your responses that have "add" instead of "fix".

People may not be able to vote for change explicity, but their votes do have some downstream influence on the developers. Well, at least that seems to be the case judging by the changes made already.

Luckily the developers aren't just doing what they are told. But are filtering it through their vision and schedule. That's what I'm seeing judging by the changes made already and the ones announced for the future.

Leaving decision-making in the hands of the mass of random internet goers is simply nonsensical and always leads to disaster. Just reading parts of this forum gives clear signals of that.

Real Goals,mostly .

Removing all stupid caps and doing some real balance.
Balance and polish for all aspects of the game.Get rid or finish everything that is "half done" battle and world related.
