Will there be a World Transfer in 2.0?

Many endgame linkshell after first merge are speculating that come 2.0 Se will be doing another Server transfer , I would like to know because it is some talks on my server from Shells being able to compete against Blue Gartr - Semper fidelis - Valour . As with 2.0 with 25 man content certain shell(s) Believe that leaving Server will give them better picking off the fresh and new player base . So if we can maybe get a answer as in is this going to be an Option in 2.0 along with New character recreation ..

I believe our current servers will also be split into different data centers, so maybe...Ridill will become one of the NA data center servers and Aegis becomes JPN. Speculation!

It would be weird seeing 10 japanese servers, I don't imagine them having over 20 servers.

Could you get information about new server location?
As you know all current servers are located in Japan and its not nice to play with high ping from Europe.
Also there is no sense to chose "Ragnarok EU" because its empty and located in Japan too.

I really want to play without lags please.

This isn't really fair to current players. I don't want to be stuck on a JP server when the game relaunchs like the one I am on now. I would give up all my gil or whatever to play on a NA server as long as I keep my character levels. There will probably be very few new NA players willing to join the current JP servers.

If I get stuck on a JP server and can't transfer off right away to one of the new NA ones I likely won't be playing for long.

How about if returning current players want to move to one of the new NA servers you put a gil cap on the amount of gil they can take over say 500k or something, so they won't effect the new economy much.

What are you in such a hurry for, you've been on a JP-located server for years(?) now, I'm sure you can wait a few weeks/months. You're right though in that the reason it won't be immediate is to ensure economic stability and to give new players a little time to develop before throwing a bunch of vets in there.

It pisses me off that I won't get to play on the server type I want to play on. I never liked the mixed servers to start with and especially don't want to play on one that's designated JP.

If we are playing on a server labeled JP though there will be an influx of JP players who maybe don't want to play on a new server but want to play on an established one. So the JPs will be getting a lot of new people to play with while the English speaking population won't rise at all.

Also it seems like we will be likely charged $25 extra to server transfer like they do on FFXI. Making it a another con for not being able to move at relaunch.
