I get that everyone fancies themself a troll these days. I get that you want to get everyone "Riled up" as if getting someone to experience an emotion gives you power over them...(Personally I think you should go oldschool and switch to voodoo hoodoo/ weeddooo? yooodooo?or whatever sketchy practice you want to use) But frankly it's just obnoxious now. We got one troll spamming dynamos dungeon ideas. Another saying he wants tanaka to keep him warm at night and now we have some crazy people who are begging for XI and even crazier people who are begging for xiv1.0. I get that their trolls... seriously though. Stop... You guys sound creepy now... it all sounds creepy now. What next a petition/demand/Iwillquitifyoudontgivemethis thread about how Umaro (yetis) from 6 needs to be a race and moogles need to ride on that race cause that race is also a mount and they need laser vision? It's just not funny any more. You're just ruining the experience of the forums for the rest of us who come here for information and to discuss how cool and excited we are for 2.0.

I'll emphasize certain things that make you no better than the person you're talking about. People offering ideas = ruining forum experience, but shit talking about people is perfectly acceptable?

Not really, it's actually the communities fault there's a negative reaction because they're too busy being pissed off about a game they more than likely never played to honestly look at an idea that's being put forward, especially since Yoshi himself starts drawing parallels to other FF games including XI.

The funniest part is the "dynamis" idea is exactly the same thing as doing a current dungeon except you'd actually kill more than the required enemies, but because it's called 'dynamis' people feel their mothers got killed by the OP and attack it.

You do understand that we're all spending money on this. We all have our personal views on how this thing should go. Just because some of our opinions have a melancholy spin on the situation, it doesn't mean we write these things to anger the people hyped for it.

We're concerned. We're apprehensive for the games future. A lot of what's been revealed, what we've seen, has not instilled a strong sense of confidence, because it's features we don't find entertaining or interesting. It's not some conspiracy to bring down the hype. It's distress. And from me, personally, I think they're rushing the game out before important features coming to 2.0 are complete.

I'd like to believe the content being added at release would be strong enough to keep the interest of new players till the meat is added, but considering the track record of people completing patches within a matter of days, I'm not exactly hopeful.

I wasn't trying to be.
We haven't even gotten our hands on the game yet, and everyone is acting like its the end of the world. (Hehe, I made a funny.)
I mean, I totally understand why you guys are so concerned, as I am too, but it's kind of useless at this point. The servers are going down soon, and Alpha is beginning afterwards, with Beta coming after that. Once we've actually experienced it, then you'll all be justified if, indeed, the game is heading in a poor direction as you said. (As I am sure, you probably are right.) But, for now, speculating on what it may be won't get us anywhere.
