I'm extremely for the use of data books; specifically if they're implemented in a manner that's both aesthetically pleasing and informative.
For example, if i were to imagine opening a book cataloging the various flora and fauna in a given location, I am wont to visualizing a charmingly rustic tome with quaint depictions of whatever i was searching for, with perhaps a paragraph or more detailing said item.

Whereas, if the data 'books' were expressed in the form of simple windows, items being illustrated via icons or prerendered character models and information given in the space of a line or two, i doubt i would be as motivated in seeking its completion.

I think that's a wonderful idea! I can even recall in XI they had those tiny bells which you were able to emote notes from the musical scale. Then upon gathering friends, and with the power of macros, were able to create an ill-timed symphony of noise willing to destroy the peace.

Nevertheless, BRD seriously needs to be more musically oriented at the very least.
