Aren't holiday quests a waste of development time and effort right now?

Maybe it is not EXACTLY how things work at SE, but a development cycle is 99% the same, so what Kazimir said is actually true. Again, it might not be the exact cycle, but it won't differ that much, seriously.

when the side bashing SE says they know how it works = TRUE
when the side defending them says how it works = everyones a dev and its funny

You mean like how when people bash the game saying is not fun, is not a success, or is broken= Subjective,hyperbole,false etc etc.
But when people defend it saying we had to much expectation(Of a AAA GAME :O), we are inpatient(After a year since alpha started :O and 5 years of development), the game is fun & in good shape( Even tho is not selling or gaining any fans) it all = fact or we all gotta learn how to convey our words or go and take a break for 3 years and come back to the game lol

yes, its very funny how you only read the posts of mine you want to and never see how i agree with alot of issues too
the difference is how i go about doing it, i dont tell people that the game is doomed and no one should be playing it
i look for more constructive ways to critisize things(while poking fun at you trolls cuz you are so easy to get to respond back)

But there are a few here you gotta admit do nothing but preech doom, and a few who do nothing but preach blind praise(sorry ab, you do)

Yes there are some that do as you say, and i'm the first to admit, that i do too at times preach a little doom here and there, and sure i like to crack a joke once in a while, or when the time is right (Those 18 fetch quest come to mind) at the games expense, or at yoshi-P snail pace, but not every single of my 100 post are "FF WILL DIE" or anything like that <.< i just think people are way to sensitive about this game lol

If it takes only one person at SE to single-handedly make all these holiday events, then that guy needs a promotion. He's obviously the only one at SE capable of releasing wave after wave of content. Dude.
