Music: - This little dinosaur is as old as time itself, and yet we're still dragging it around with us. Why can't we get a game that plays that noise dial-up modems make instead? Or maybe the sound of alleycats fighting?

Input Devices: - Seriously? Why does every game in existence rely on input devices? The Kinect even uses a huge camera doohicky that interprets your movement. Sure, the input device itself changes now and then, but it's old hat. We need something new.

Lack of Pain: - With the exception of really horrible games like Atari's E.T. and Superman 64, there are no games that cause any measure of pain to the player as a gameplay mechanic.

Polygons: - You know, polygons had a great run back when they first came out, but now it's just old hat. We've seen it before, and you're not impressing anyone no matter how many of them you can fit on a screen. It's right up there with the next one on the list...

Pixels: - HO-LAY-CRAP these are overused. Seriously people, it's 2012! Why are we still using relics from the prehistoric period of the computer era?? Get with the program!

All kidding aside, the point I'm trying to make is that it doesn't matter whether or not it's been done before, it matters whether or not it's done well.

Please try to remember that before flailing your arms and screaming about WoW clones.

i agree with rokien ..i don't like dungeon exp. what's so hard about keeping it all seperate. i like many groups around. bibiki bay, the dunes ftw, imps area, what have you. fun group leveling and tons of people there ..lol ghosts killing people, watching groups wipe, only part that might be pain is when they are too full. but that is a problem in it's own and i rather that then instances.

i don't mind repeating dungeons for gear, but i don't' want to level at same time in the same places. i don't want to do quests for exp, i want to exp all day with others and when i'm relaxing or bored slowly work on my quests, take the time and read them when i feel like it. all them cut scene stories in swtor was a waist i didn't read any all the way to max. besides lets not kid ourselves they are just stupid npc's or a head of npc waving around his hands, so what nothing huge to look at. a stick figure would of gave off the same function for it.

number one problem with mmo's they are catering to people who pretty much want to race to max level and then they are done, it's like yaay now i can just log in a few hours a week to do my endgame, my mom or wife won't beat on me or whatever. this isn't a mmo, you ruined the real mmo experience for everyone else.

what if the dungeons are tied to quest and story line and you get exp for completing those quests or storyline? If you want an amazing dungeon system look at guild wars 2 =D (sarcasm)

Jesus christ you were the guy who wanted this to keep the FFXI method of grinding. Now you don't want to sit in the same spot?

Going back over it, it's not the fact that they're instanced that really bothers me.

It's the fact that I have to form a team of 4-8 to charge through a tunnel as quickly as possible without any opportunity to explore and take in the event. I just want a big living world to explore and team up with people with minimal borders. Cutting up the world like that. Making the levels timed obstacle courses. It just takes away from that natural style world I fell in love with for -THE GAME I'M NOT ALLOWED TO MENTION WITHOUT VAST QUANTITIES OF JUDGMENT- and that's boring to me.
That's why the only thing I'm looking forward to is the world redesign.

So, you say that you DON'T want to race to max level, but then admit that you rush through the questing process. Why can't you slow down and savor the quests while you're leveling?

And when you don't read quest text, of course the NPCs are just stick figures waving their arms around. Watch Shakespeare with the sound off, and you'll find much the same thing.

You choose your own level of immersion, bro.

you miss understood what i just said there. i mean i don't want to level in said dungeon and exp grind in it too. i want dungeons to be dungeons and i want killing mobs for exp completely separate is what i mean. i don't mind standing in same spots. or pulling mobs rather then running. i loved ffxi style leveling. 6peoples, run to places together then kill for hours ..then go do dungeon or end game event after. go do missions seperatly, quests seperatly. adding quests in a dungeon is dumb. i hate that in warhammer, can we please do all the quests i need that too? no thanks, ok bye. meh. separate everything please.

i do want it like ffxi style, basically what we have now except get ride of the pl methods. sb grinds are fun and quick killing. that is perfect actually if stayed the top way to do it. i think they made a huge mistake trying to copy other mmo's with there quests and dungeon method.

you do choose your own level of immersion, but you can't chose to still level the grind way if it is changed. i don't need to read the quests if i don't want to. savoring that part isn't my enjoyment. doing stuff like jenki, or farming nm's for good gear b4 you move forward cause the exp leveling is long enough to care what your wearing, that i like. reading the same stuff from every mmo isn't savoring to me. i will do it if it's separated, i read every quest in ffxi. i never read warhammers or gw2's or tera's or swtors even though for swtor i tried to savor it as you call it and after few hours i was like f'this. keeping them separated only give people twice the stuff to do and savor and enjoy.
