How am I to know an event is taking place with no bells? Serious issue.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
Kind of but not really disappointed by the lack of info on the grand companies but i am guessing that will come a bit later with a post directly concerning it. Other then that it was a good but brief read.
bells or no bells... i hope we get some gear, i am not fond of cookies.

So true.... that letter didn't tell us anything new. Only that the patch is split in 2 and that we are getting a useless easter event.
At least he could have told a little bit of what we will see in the patch. Instead he decided to play the secrecy game but it will back fire on him if 1.7 is not up to people's expectations.
humm yes, after the last mini patch the expectations might be raised.

And if they rushed out with shoddy work they threw together, people would definitely complain. You do not get quality in a short amount of time. It's the old adage: "You give 'em an inch, they take a mile".
If they gave us no information, people would complain.
If they give us little information, people complain.
If they gave us detailed dates, people complain if they can't release on that date.
It's a lose-lose situation, and the people who complain about this stuff really need rethink their lives.
Since their self-admitted failure on this game, they have done everything they can to listen to and involve the players, and have kept in communication with us. I appreciate that big time.
And whether or not you think we need an event, maybe the Japanese players do.
OOOOOOH GREEEEEEAT ANOTHER EVENT!!
Seriously?? >.>
Dear Yoshi-P... you said yourself you're not gonna give us any content since the gameplay is still broken... SO WHY ARE YOU GIVING US EVENTS?? Who cares?? Oh this one doesn't involve a bell? :O Niiiice... so you actually spent time devepoling this one...
I don't know if this guy realizes what's the situation, but the players are quite frustrated, because of the current state of the game and also because we have no idea on how this game is gonna be in the next few months (or years...)
And from the latest news t seems they don't know it either!
Due to the fact we still have a lot of elements that need to be tested and looked into, it is difficult for me to tell you any more info in great detail, but if you give me some time I will do my best to share the information with you.And we still have no info about the armory system and the physical level, so I have to assume they still have to start working on them...As soon as we hammer out the basics of the new dungeon and raid environments, we’ll be throwing out some screenshots and introducing them to you.
So... you still have to test the new battle system and you have no idea on how the promised dungeon scheduled for spring is gonna be... good, that's really what I wanted to hear as someone playing since September.
Seven months and we are still at the same point... I know the new team just started 4 months ago, but I also have to say that the biggest updates we got were the November and December ones, both from the former team, I really find it hard to say the new team did something great aside promises.
So it really pisses me off that they spent time and effort in something like a holiday event... WAKE UP YOSHI if you go on thi way FFXIV won't have another holiday!
