FFXI's Kupotablets come to mind. Do you call that an "endgame event"?

I wouldn't have any problem with something like that, since it's permanent and the bonuses are rather nice.

That's not an event, that's a system designed to get players to use older areas more; Note the lack of it's presence in ToAU or Shadowreign areas.


Halloween, Festival of Dolls, summerfest etc are all seasonal events, which aren't permanent as they only appear at their appropriate time.
