First of all, I would like to thank yoshi-p for his time to give us a heads up.

So, 1.17 will be coming in two patches, the first one coming mid-april with a easter event WITH NO BELLS I'm actually excited to see this lol

It also seems the PvE content is coming soon

I was hoping to hear about companies, but it shouldn't take much time now, since they said we would have news just before 1.17 was released.

lmao i love the No Bells. So for companies, it doesn't look like were going to get them in the 1.17/1.17a patch. Thats what i took from his letter. But then again it is April first and we could get 100% of it...lol

patch 1.17 was initially pushed back to mid-April, but after reexamination we’ve decided instead to divide the content and release it across two patches—1.17 and 1.17a.

are you sure its gonna be mid April? looks like it gonna split and i assume the 1st part is gonna be early April while the 2nd part is towards the end of April

Yeah, I'm actually really sad. I would much rather have a Golden Week-themed event than an Easter one. You don't have to be Christian to care about Golden Week, but you do have to be Christian to care about Easter (unless you just like fluffy bunnies and Easter candy).

I like fluffy bunnies and bright, colorful painted eggs. I also like seeing the Ezorean cities decorated for events. I miss the peach blossoms!

So, personally, excited for this update already. I'm also looking forward to seeing what other little goodies are going to be included.

Cherry, actually, if you're referring to Sakura (さくら).

But yeah, I agree they are nice. Though they have hanami (blossom viewing) during golden week too.

False. You cannot reasonably assume we won't be getting content. The only thing we know is that we are getting seasonal content, but we aren't getting the raids yet. We have no information as to what other content may or may not be in the patch.

You don't have to be a Christian to ENJOY Easter, do you? The same goes for Christmas. Hell, I'm an atheist, but every year, I help my family celebrate Christmas and Easter. Why? Many reasons. The main reason is that I don't like to be such a spoiled brat that I want to make others unhappy just because I don't believe what they do. The second reason is that Easter and Christmas were not originally Christian holidays....so why shouldn't I celebrate them? I can just celebrate them in a different way than everyone else. Now...if you don't want to celebrate Easter, you can just...not log in.
